Course outline

Effective project management executes and delivers positive change in an organisation. To do this involves technical skills, such as critical path analysis and Gantt charting, as well as people skills, including motivating, influencing and managing intergroup conflict.

This course introduces the basic principles and processes of project management, as well as the recognition, assessment and mitigation of risk within projects. It also touches on critical people and cultural issues that are implicit in the management of projects.
