Fast Track Graduate Programme
If you have a relevant degree, you may be able to complete a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) through our Fast Track graduate programme.
Completion time will vary depending on your previous qualification.
Who is eligible for the programme?
- Those who are/have been working in industry (for approximately 5+ years) and have completed a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering and wish to upgrade to an accredited, professional engineering degree that is recognised around the world.
- Those with degrees in relevant fields (such as earth sciences, chemistry, physics, mathematics and/or computer science) who have 5+ years experience related to the programme they wish to enter into.
Degree structure
Each student’s study journey will be customised based on their prior qualifications and skills and when they are able to commence full-time study, part-time study is also an option.
There are papers available if you need to refresh your maths and physics.
If you have a degree in earth sciences or chemistry for instance, and wish to pursue a BE(Hons) in Civil Engineering, you could start full-time.
