Leadership Communication Subject regulations
Leadership Communication prepares students for careers in public relations, communication consulting, politics, professional writing, or any kind of leadership or managerial role in business and the community. The best leaders are outstanding communicators, who possess the skills to empower and influence other people in the workplace. They can manage teams of individuals to perform at their best, and play an important role in helping organisations make strategic changes.
Leadership Communication is available as a minor.
To complete a minor in Leadership Communication, students must complete 60 points from Leadership Communication papers, including at least 30 points above 100 level. Students must complete LEADR101.
There will be no new enrolments in the Leadership Communication major in 2020 and onwards. Students enrolled previously are encouraged to contact the Waikato Management School for programme advice.
