Animal Behaviour Subject regulations
Animal Behaviour is the study of behaviour patterns in animals (including humans), and of how the behaviour of individuals helps to determine the density and distribution of populations. A knowledge of animal behaviour is of increasing importance in areas such as evolutionary biology, conservation biology, and the efficient and humane management of farm animals.
Animal Behaviour is available as a minor.
To complete a minor in Animal Behaviour, students must complete 60 points from the papers listed below, including BIOEB200, BIOEB301 and a further 30 points.
There will be no new enrolments into the Animal Behaviour major from 2018. Students who commenced a major in Animal Behaviour in 2017 or prior should contact the Division of Health, Engineering, Computing and Science for advice.
