Are you thinking about a future career in accounting? Join us for this special careers event at the University of Waikato on 14 August 2024 and start planning your future today!
Open to all secondary school students in years 12-13, as well as business studies/accounting teachers, careers advisors, and parents/whānau.
This is your chance to:
- Hear from industry experts about the essential 'soft skills' and qualifications needed to get started in this versatile profession.
- Discover how the role of Chartered Accountants is evolving with the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and other new technologies.
- Discover how a career in accounting can make epic things happen! It will unlock opportunities for you to work in a wide range of industries - such as sport, health, business, entertainment, or not-for-profits - in New Zealand or overseas.
- Enjoy food and refreshments after the event while you mix 'n' mingle.
